Saint-Chinian Wine Tour
Saint-Chinian has a very unique geological makeup with three different soil varieties, which creates an amazing range of wines to suit all tastes.
You will get to experience all of these plus several blends of the three varieties that are typical of Saint-Chinian.
Lunch is also an extraordinary experience as it is a white linen picnic set up right on the banks of the River Orb—you will be utterly spoiled!
This tour is a great balance between food, wine, and a magnificent setting.
10:00 — You will be picked up and taken on a scenic drive to the first vineyard. The day begins with tasting the wines grown in the schiste covered northern part of this region.
12:00 — Weather permitting, your guide will set up a gourmet picnic complete with table, chairs, white linen table cloth, and place settings right on the banks of the River Orb. Fresh hot food is cooked on our plancha coupled with beautiful wine pairings for a delightful lunch in a breathtaking setting.
13:30 — The tour continues with wine tastings in nearby Roquebrun and Puisserguier.
17:00 — You will be returned to your accommodations at the end of your wine tour experience.
